I feel things are much better then ever. I'm a 55 year old woman who loves all peoples. I do feel however that white people are becoming the minority.
God made all people and like flowers they are all beautiful and different. That's a good thing. My niece is married to a man from Africa and my daughter married a Mexican. I remember when there were no people of color on television. I asked my mother why. I knew there were more then just white people in the world and wanted to know why the wide variety of peoples weren't on the tube. She said I don't know honey. The people who control the shows control the actors I guess. So, things are different now and that's a good thing. I own a small business in Michigan. My workers are divided. Half are black and half are white. Everyone earns $15.00 an hour. My employees have been with me over ten years now and I can truly say: I love them all. We are such good friends we talk openly about slang words such as the N word and cracker. Cracker is what white people are called. I wanted to know if it was saltine. Honky hum!! Anyway, its all pretty stupid and a waste of words.
