Our Community Support and Engagement Efforts
Community Capital Resources

United Way’s Community Capital Resources helps build operating capacity and efficiency in nonprofits in the community.  Through consultations, technical assistance workshops, and predevelopment resources, Community Capital Resources helps nonprofit organizations plan and manage facility projects, enabling them to better serve the community.

The Community Capital Resources Workshops provide nonprofit executives, staff and board members with information on project planning and financing, energy efficiency, assembling the right team of consultants and making the right real estate decisions.

Consultation & Predevelopment Resources - Provide assistance to nonprofits with their facility project planning, by granting access to a pool of experts (facilities, strategic planning and business planning) to analyze the feasibility of an organization's proposed project.

Energy Efficiency Grants – Allow nonprofits with residential programs improve their energy systems, providing years of cost savings on energy bills.

Capital Grants and Planning Grants – Community Capital Resources offer planning grants for nonprofits to investigate the possibility of making changes to their facility. Capital grants are also available to assist nonprofit organizations with the cost of a new or renovated facility.
